Teachers Training Sundays
On the last sunday of each month, (for details of the next session click here)
As an ongoing community function, Yoga Ananda Holistic Centre hosts master classes for Teachers (and other advanced yogi's wanting to further their knowledge are also welcome, we don't requite a teacher's certification to attend) on the last Sunday of each month - or thereabouts.
The intention is to grow a community of teachers in the local area, who meet every month for a wonderful class, a lecture, some practises and to talk - we will always keep at least 1 hour for open discussion and networking!
Teachers Sunday program
12noon - 2pm - a 2 hour physical class - a kind of Master class to help Teachers and attendees to expand their practise and learn new techniques themselves, to perhaps add to their class later.
2:00pm - following the class, a long networking lunch hour - please bring your own lunch or some to share: we have herbal teas and hot water and a lovely cafe area to sit.
3:00pm - 5:30pm there will be a lecture or talk with a qualified speaker - on a subject relating to teaching or practising yoga at a deeper level - we have had an Introduction to Sanskrit lecture, and a talk on Meditation as a path to Enlightenment. Other subjects we hope to include in future sessions include pregnancy yoga, Yoga Nidra, Laughter Yoga, philosophy of yoga, more sanskrit training, yoga with music, yoga as therapy, and others.
We always have a Satsang (shared community time singing kirtan and meditation, and some discourse if a qualified person is available) on a Sunday evening at 5:30 so teachers who attend the Sunday session are very welcome to stay and attend Satsang. Its free.
We really hope you'll join us!
Latest details of the next session are here on the workshops page
Contribution for the two sessions of the Teachers Community Day is £40.
If you would like to attend only part of the day, that is also possible.
