'Through the Eyes of Beauty'
- Spiritual Art Exhibition! 27th March - 27th July 2010
Open to the public, please come anytime - Centre reception available weekdays 9am - 8pm and Saturday 9am - 4pm
Artists Dana Lynne Andersen, Liz Armstrong, Robert Burton, Jonah Cacciope, Ginger Gilmour and Debbie Monique Jolliff are exhibiting at the Yoga Ananda Centre in Reigate. From the 27th March through to the 27th July at Yoga Ananda in Reigate, Fine Art Surrey has brought together a collection of artists with beautiful works of paintings, silks, drawings, photographs, and sculptures to uplift the soul.

Dana Lynne Andersen

Liz Armstrong
Liz is a very succesful and popular artist with a GREAT love of horses in all facets. She has exhibited at Lauderdale House in Highgate commencing in 2004. In 2005 she was commissioned to design the front cover of a high quality brochure for the Shadwell Stud. In 2006 she was invited to the Dubai World Cup to show her work. During 2007 Falle Fine Art St Helier Jersey asked her to show some contemporary style horses. She participated in the Ascot Art Festival and exhibited with Burlington Contemporary Art Cheltenham in the festival week.
In 2007 Liz was awarded the IBA prize for the best horse/rider picture in conjunction with Society of Equestrian Artists.
We have three of Liz's recent more contemporary style portraits of horses at the Studio, showing a deeper soulful perspective of her work.For more details see her website.

Robert Burton
Robert works with silks and textiles.He is an artist, storyteller, fabric-maker, symbol-maker and universe dancer. His work discusses – in colour and line – the fluidity of the veils of our being. From the interpretation of the symbolic to the ritual of expression found within the sublime moment, Rob endeavours to capture in colour and light the unseen energies that flow within and through life; inspiring, healing and uplifting us to cosmic and universal consciousness. His work covers the mediums of drawings, painting and textiles with outcomes ranging from 2d works to evocative fabrics and cutting-edge wearable artwork.

Jonah Cacioppe
Originally from Perth, Australia, Jonah received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) from Curtin University, Perth. He also trained in London at the St Oswold's School of Painting.
In 2000/1 Jonah worked fulltime on the Waterperry House Fresco Project in Oxford, UK, involving painters and sculptors, the project is one of the largest series of frescoe paintings to be completed in the UK and is based on idea, myths and practices drawn from Advaita Vedanta.
In 2002 Jonah took up a scholarship to the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney, through the Mosman Youth Art Prize, and received the Brett Whiteley Scholarship to Julian Ashtons in 2003.
In 2004 he completed a Masters of Studio Arts at Sydney College of the Arts with Honors and a distinction, under the supervison of Dr Lindy Lee.
Jonah has exhibited extensively in Perth, Sydney, Oxford and London, and was Head of Painting at the Art Academy in London, 2005 -7, taught at St Oswold's School of Painting and recently he returned to Perth to take up a job as Business Manager at Integral Development specialising in leadership development, ethical leadership and sustainability.

Ginger Gilmour
Ginger has a number of wonderful pieces on display with us, painted canvasses, board, and sculptures of angels and other wonderful soulful and enlightening images. Ginger's journey from her early childhood has been about seeking, and more recently, about creating Beauty. She found in the words of Alice Bailey her quest in Life: To create an environment where IT can happen, and she has certainly shared that journey, and brought a lot of beauty into the yoga Centre with her work!

Debbie Monique Jolliff
Debbie's photographs capture the essence, beauty and inspiration of the natural world, with her focus on many types of flora, her work has a clean, elegant, stylish edge with a true botanical reference.
She has won many awards for her fine art photographs including the Royal Horticultural Society's prestigious Gold Medal for her exhibition titled 'The genus Galanthus'.
Since graduating Debbie has built on her collection of Fine Art images, keen to experiment more she is currently working on a limited edition piece titled 'Four Seasons' and a set of 12 panoramic images on 'The genus Auricula'.
