Satsang - Ramana Maharshi style
Sunday 1 August 5:30 - 7:30pm
Vedanta is the oldest and most enduring spiritual teaching in India. Vedanta in essence is a simple philosophy. It says that our true Self, what it calls the Atman, is God. "I am God" (aham brahmasmi) is the supreme truth. The same consciousness that resides at the core of our being pervades the entire universe. To know ourselves is to know God and to become one with all.
Sean Campbell will lead a satsang based on the teachings of Ramana Maharshi, all are welcome, this is a complex philosophy/spiritual teaching and would be of more interest to those who have practised meditation and yoga for some time.

Ecstasy
Ecstasy is BEING and becoming is misery. If you want to become something you will be miserable. If you want to be ecstatic - then it is here and now, this very moment.
Try to understand your misery. Live it, go to the very depth of it, find out the cause, why it is there. Let understanding be your meditation.
Joy arises within, it has nothing to do with the outside. It is not caused by others, it is not caused at all. It is the spontaneous flow of your own energy.
The past is that which is no more, and the future is that which is not yet. Both are non-existential. The present is that which is.
